How to install LawFiz
- Install LawFiz from Appearance, Themes, Add New.
- Choose one of the two header styles and set brand colours in the customizer.
- Create a page per practice area rather than one combined services page.
- Set the inner page settings and sidebar position, then build a contact page and test the form.
- Publish one or two plain-language guides before launch so the blog is not empty at launch.
Frequently asked questions
Is LawFiz free for a law practice?
Yes. It is distributed free through WordPress.org under the GPL, and commercial use is permitted. Pro adds optional features but is not required to launch.
What are inner page settings?
They are customizer controls that apply to pages rather than the homepage, letting you set layout and sidebar behaviour consistently across practice-area pages. On a site that is mostly inner pages, that saves configuring each one separately.
Does the theme include a contact form and breadcrumbs?
Both are part of the free feature set. Breadcrumbs help visitors understand where they are inside a practice-area structure, and the form handles enquiries without a plugin.
Should I use LawFiz or LawFiz One?
They are close siblings with the same free feature list. LawFiz One adds a dedicated Pro add-ons package and demo set. Pick whichever demo matches the practice's visual preference, since the underlying capability is the same.
