How To Setup Theme And How To Use 1 Click Demo Import
You can create your website like the preview demo in just a few steps
Step 1) First of all install this theme by going to Appearance->Themes->Add New. In Search Themes textfield type ‘shop zen’ or ‘Upload shop-zen.zip and install it.
Step 2) You’ll see a welcome screen upon activation. Click on the button Get Started with Shop Zen. It will automatically redirect you to the demo import page.
Step 3) Select your demo. Click on Import Demo button. A new window will open along with the required plugins and wait for the process to finish.
How To Continue if 1 Click Demo Import Shows Errors
Sometimes the demo import window shows error in the installing plugin step. Follow the steps below
Step 1) Try to activate the Woocommerce, Elementor and Contact Form 7 plugin manually. Go to Plugins -> Installed Plugins and activate the plugins manually
Step 2) Try demo import once again. Go to Appearance -> Demo Import and start the demo process again
How To Continue if “Get Started with” button not working (* Important)
If somehow the button is not working and it does not redirect to the demo import page then follow the steps below
Step 1) First of all install the plugin called “Spiraclethemes Site Library” by going to Plugins->Add New and search for the plugin name
Step 2) After installing and activating the plugin. Then go to Appearance -> Demo Import.
Step 3) Select your demo. Click on Import Demo button. A new window will open along with the required plugins and wait for the process to finish.
Getting Started With Shop Zen (Manual)
If You just activated the theme then follow the steps below
Step 1) Create new pages from Pages menu and name it Home for home page and Blog for blog page
Step 2) Go to Settings->Reading menu and from Your homepage displayssettings select A static page and then select Home as Front page and Blog as blog page
Step 3) Save it
Step 4) Now You need to install the recommended plugins. Just go to Appearance -> Shop Zen Info and then click on the Recommended Plugins tab. You will see the list of the plugins there. Click on Install & Activate button to install and activate plugins
Step 4) Once all plugins are installed now you can edit your home page using Elementor Page builder easily.
How To Set Page Width in Elementor
Shop Zen default width is 1240px. After you install and activate Shop Zen. You’ll notice that the Elementor’s content is taking the 1170px width and not 1240px width. To change the Elementor’s page width. We need to add the following steps. Check images below
Step 1) Click on top left Elementor logo -> Site Settings -> Layout
Step 2) Add the content width 1240px to the Elementor’s Layout settings and Save Settings
How to Change Logo
Step 1) Go to Appearance->Customize
Step 2) Click on Site Identity Tab.
Step 3) Upload a logo of your own.
Step 4) Save & Publish
How to Add Menu
Go to Menus from Appearance-> Menus.
Step 1) Create a new menu.
Step 2) Select pages from left and add it to menu
Step 3) After this Select Theme Locations Primary from bottom and click Save Menu
How To Edit / Create Page With ELEMENTOR Page Builder?
Step 1) Go to Pages->Add New
Step 2) Enter Page Title for eg About
Step 3) Click on the blue button Edit with Elementor
How To Add Contact Form Shown In Demo
Step 1) Click on Contact -> Add New
Step 2) Create your new form
Step 3) Copy the shortcode
Step 4) Paste your short code in the Shop Zen Contact Wrap widget
Step 5) Save & Publish.
How To Add Copyrights Text
Step 1) Click on Appearance -> Customize -> Footer Settings
Step 2) Scroll down to Footer copyrights text
Step 3) Enter your content
Step 4) Save & Publish
How to Show Products in a page
Step 1) Open you page with Elementor Page builder.
Step 2) Find widget Products Grid Widget and drop into the section and change few settings
Step 3) Save & Publish.
Where to find the theme’s WooCommerce options
Go to Appearance -> Customize -> WooCommerce and from the options you can change the products display, WooCommerce sidebar etc.
What if demo import failed and You want to reset WordPress website
If your demo import does not finish successfully, you will see that the content is only partially downloaded.
In such situations, you will need a fresh WordPress installation to start over, which requires deleting the existing data first.
Follow these steps to do this:
Step 1): Go to Plugins -> Add New and search for the WP Reset plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-reset/). Install and activate it.
Step 2): Click on the Plugins menu to find WP Reset in your list of installed plugins. Click on the Open WP Reset Tools link.
Step 3): Scroll down to the Site Reset section. Type the word “reset” into the confirmation textbox, then click the Reset Site button. Your site will now be reset
